Green Bay Lightning prepares for it's 32nd season in 2024/2025. Our mission is to develop youth soccer players to the best of their abilities and prepare them to play at the highest level at which an individual player desires to participate, consistent with their playing ability and commitment. Our club was founded in 1990 by a group of dedicated soccer parents who wanted to give their children an opportunity to play soccer at a higher level. In 1993, the Lightning name was officially adopted and continues to this day. The Lightning logo, like many logos do, has evolved over time and this year is no different as we adjusted the color scheme slightly to take on the popular neon yellow color. We felt this was important for a few reasons, not just because it looks awesome!

Thanks for all your support and the energy you put into make this club and community what it is. A special thanks to all of our coaches, club administrators, and team managers who make all of this possible.

The club is hyper focused on community and developing talent in our local neighborhoods. We provide the most competitive environment and try to keep trainings and games as local as possible. Drive time takes away from practice and game time. As players get older, we look to expand our travel for tournaments and games that balance out competition and effectiveness.
